The Serenity Plan is the operating contract behind the Academy. Six pillars, four horizon years, one outcome: keep the rooms open, keep the masters local, keep the tradition in the hands of the people who actually live the culture. Enrollment is worldwide. Compliance is built in. The deadline is real.

Keep the Rooms Open

Box Studios on Chef Menteur stays lit, staffed, and tracking. SSL Nucleus, AMS/Neve V3, Pro Tools HDX, Auralex booth — running cycles year-round, not booked into silence.

Keep the Masters Local

Sessions cut in-house are archived in-house. Stems, sessions, and provenance held under the Sanctuary Network — no master leaves the state without the artist's signature.

Open Enrollment, Worldwide

You do not have to be from the South to enroll. Twelve-week cycles, sliding scale, in-studio or remote. International students welcome under applicable U.S. and international education law.

Hardware as Syllabus

MPC, SP-1200, TR-808, 1200s, SSL, Neve — every flagship piece doubles as a teaching tool. Manuals first. Cable wrapping is the door fee.

Vibe Coding Literacy

Every track opens with a one-week Vibe Coding intensive. Students ship working tools by Friday. Music first, but software literacy is non-negotiable.

PRE-Storyk museum-grade vitrines preserve the instruments-as-monuments. Documentation, photographs, labels, oral history — the next class inherits the lineage, not just the gear.

    • First six-track cohort enrolled (Beats, Engineering, MC, R&B, DJ, Phygital)
    • Sanctuary archive protocol live — every session logged, every stem held

  2. Expansion

    2027

    • Worldwide remote intake opens at scale — international cohorts onboard
    • PRE-Storyk vitrines installed; SP-1200 and TR-808 enter permanent display
    • First graduating class ships EPs, mixes, and tools — all registered, all credited

  3. Consolidation

    2028

    • Royalty clearing, valuation, and vault desks fully operational
    • Second studio room broken ground — twin-floor capacity by year end
    • Master Ledger reaches first thousand cap-table positions

  4. Serenity

    2029

    • Louisiana culture-crisis metrics reversed: studios open, engineers retained, masters held local
    • Academy recognized as a worldwide pipeline — Atlanta and LA recruit from us, not the reverse
    • Project 2029 sunsets into the standing operating model. The work continues without the deadline.

Door Fee

Prerequisites for every cohort.

These are graded the same as gain staging. They apply to every track, every cycle, every student — local or international.

  • 02Wrap cable over/under. Velcro the same direction every time.
  • 03Critical thinking, critical listening, clear communication.
  • 04Basic music theory and music analysis appreciation.
  • 05Emotional intelligence, body awareness, and self-control.

Closing Mandate

The plan sunsets in 2029. The work does not.

Project 2029 is a deadline, not a destination. When the metrics flip and the rooms stay open without the mandate, the Serenity Plan retires into standing practice — and the Academy keeps tracking the next class.
